One aspect I enjoy most about the different roles I have performed, is working with other people collectively achieving our goals and learning new things along the way.
My hobbies are tai chi, beach walking and spending time with my family. I was registered as a Marriage Celebrant by the Attorney General's department in April 2009 and since that time I have enjoyed meeting new people including other celebrants and wedding suppliers and visiting many new places up and down the coast and inland to Canberra.
my lightbulb moment came few years ago after being a guest at a Celebrant-led wedding in their own home in Sydney, and marvelling at what a truly personalised Ceremony can feel and look like.
Now I am a trained Marriage and Family Celebrant with AQT of Celebrancy by Keith Lammond, a very well-known and experienced Celebrant
Other Professional Activities: For the last few years I have been teaching Ethics & Human Values to children and serving the community as a Justice of Peace.

My goal is to design and implement ceremonies which are personal, meaningful and memorable. I am able to make the occasion lighthearted and fun without doing 'Dad jokes'. I am very grateful to all the couples I've married and the families I've met along the way.
designing the funeral ceremony or memorial to honour the loved one,
following the wishes of family members,
being strong so as to be a support for others,
helping design the program or order of service,
working closely with funeral directors,
leaving participants with the feeling that they know the deceased a little better and have really been part of a celebration of life.
