Celebrant background: My background is in film and television production so I enjoy collaborating with people in order to figure out how best to tell their stories and how to create unique ways of expressing their relationship through a personalised ceremony.
It can be simple, it can be formal, it can be visual, it can be verbal but it is always heartfelt and inclusive; a memory that will always makes you smile.
Why I'm a celebrant: The love! It's such a privilege to be a part of an intimate celebration like a wedding. I try to honour that shared intimacy between the couple and their family and friends by creating an experience that will always bring back happy memories of a perfect day.
Treasured memories: My Japanese friends flying their family and friends all the way to Melbourne so that I could marry them at the Royal Botanic Gardens. Super kawaiii! And the arrival of marriage equality in Australia and my first LGBTQIA+ wedding in 2018. Finally, we are all equal in the eyes of the law and love is love is love is all.
