Why I'm a celebrant: Well, hello there...

My name is Rebecca Hearne and I'm a Sydney Civil Celebrant and NSW JP.

I'm an approachable, conscientious, insightful and fresh Civil Celebrant who is accepting and supportive of Marriage Equality, and respectful of all diverse religious, spiritual and cultural groups.

I've been member of the Spiritual community for the past 20 years and in that time, have been creating a variety of ceremonies and rituals for all types of Life Celebrations.

After a 20-year career in Financial Services, I felt the pull toward a more inspiring and personally rewarding career… I found my passion in 'Creating Magical Moments'.

I have a number of years experience as a Funeral Director's assistant and Funeral Celebrant, while studying and completing my Cert IV in Celebrancy.

I have now officially been registered as an Authorised Marriage Celebrant and an appointed Justice of the Peace for NSW.

and I'd like to say: I acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land where I work and live. I pay my respects to Elders past, present and emerging. I celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders of all communities who also work and live on this land.
