Celebrant background: Several years ago, while completing a sex, love and relationship coaching training, I fell in love with ritual, with crafting words and activities that reflect life's complex emotions and journeys. I realised that women, particularly older women, have a role to play in bringing deep, meaningful ceremonies back into our culture.
I have a minimalist approach to life, having travelled Australia in a caravan for 8 years, I know the joy that comes from stripping life down to things that fill us with joy, not following what is expected of us.
Why I'm a celebrant: I became a celebrant because I wanted to provide you with the option of creating a unique ceremony, designed with your needs in mind and non reliant on the restrictions of traditions and societal expectations.

Tips : Think of creating your ceremony as writing a song that reflects you. The key you choose to write your song in, the instruments your choose to play, the accompanying orchestra all combine to make a melody that is an expression of you.
