Being a rural NSW Celebrant, I travel distances, often delivering celebrant services on-farm; in gorgeous heritage buildings; or in locations with stunning natural vistas.

Why I'm a celebrant: Becoming a celebrant was a bit of a dream, but being a celebrant takes dedication.

It’s a specialised vocation - yes, but more than that, it’s a privilege to be trusted to step into the lives of people during times of their greatest joy or deepest sorrow.

I am a celebrant because I love my work. Sure, it’s challenging, but my people say I’m good at it, that I am calming, reassuring and helpful.

Treasured memories: My first ever marriage ceremony taught me so much about life and love. There were many many family and friends present to celebrate that day, in the park in Newcastle. The Bride was determined, and kept her eyes totally fixed on mine as she walked aided from the car, to the sound of her favourite upbeat song played so very loud. I kept my eyes fixed on hers, my smile full of encouragement. You see, it was the Bride’s absolute dying wish to be married to her partner of 17 years. They’d given her 6 months. She died a week later.
