When I retired from being a mobile Deejay, becoming a marriage celebrant seemed like a natural progression. I'm looking forward to helping to design and deliver beautiful ceremonies for all occasions for all people.

Why I'm a celebrant: I just love people. I love being with people. I love talking to people. I love helping people. It's just a big part of who I am.
I'm bright, bubbly, colourful, vibrant and extremely outgoing, I enjoy helping people with all sorts of things and since retiring from being a Deejay, well, I was missing the people contact. So, I figured I would study to become a celebrant, it seemed like a logical transition for me, and I'm so very glad I did.

Treasured memories: Whilst studying for my Cert IV in Celebrancy, I lost a very dear friend to cancer.
It was so very hard for me as I had just lost both my father in law and my sister in law in the three months prior.
I was extremely honoured to be asked by my friend's husband to conduct her memorial service.

I was determined to make sure that I gave her the best possible memorial ever.
The service went extremely well, it was a very beautiful memorial and several attendees congratulated me on the way I had conducted it.

Although challenging, it was also a very special day for me me both personally and professionally.

and I'd like to say: I am looking forward to helping people design and create the most important day of their lives, their wedding day.
More than that, I'm also looking forward to helping people with other major events in their lives, such as Naming days, Commitment ceremonies, and Engagements.

I’m also available to help deliver life events that can prove to be very difficult on families and friends, namely funerals and memorials.

Events such as these are an important part of life, so great care and respect are needed when organising these ceremonies. My empathy and passion make me an ideal choice for helping design and deliver these challenging events.
