Civil Marriage Celebrant & other special occasions

Celebrant background: A love of people and life has served me well. Working in Hospitality and the Public Health Care system, provided opportunity for me to express myself in creative ways.
Nursing, fulfilled a desire to create a nurturing and comforting environment, for those in my care.
Hospitality, provided the opportunity to create a fun and inclusive space for everyone.
Both careers afforded me the opportunity to bring music and joy into the lives of those around me.
My nursing roles were varied. As a Palliative nurse my focus was on helping those in my care to live, rather than the end as the only point of reference. I was able to facilitate opportunities for my patients and their loved ones, to create memories which would bring comfort for those left behind and a sense of fulfillment within those that I cared for.

And Hospitality, what's not to love about laughter, joy, good food, wine, music and sharing with people you love. Whether it's dancing, dining, watching a sporting event or chatting across the bar, my happy disposition helped create a warm, welcoming environment for all.
Why I'm a celebrant: That's easy...I love weddings, and all life affirming events. Reminds me how lucky we are to be alive. I am about providing service to others, getting creative serves as a wonderfully exciting and gratifying action to me.
Being a Celebrant, affords me the opportunity to help celebrate and contribute to the special moments, in the lives of those that I am privileged to work with.

The term, " Love what you do", resonates.
Treasured memories: Some of my most treasured memories are the moments in time spent celebrating life with my family and friends. Picnics, parties, adventures, childhood travel.
Then there are those memories, no words could express, except to say, the feelings are almost tangible.
An embrace from those you love.
The sound of my child singing, laughing, or the touch of gentle little fingers on my face.
The way a parent strokes your head or wipes away a tear....
I think everyone can relate to a memory being evocative of a feeling, instead of a word.
Tips : Now, if you are struggling for ideas, it can feel overwhelming. Remember, I am here to help.
Relax and take time to be still, breath deeply. The day will come soon enough, part of the journey is to enjoy the process too.
I have plenty of suggestions on how to achieve this outcome.

This is all about you, your vision and creating a memory for you to treasure.
and I'd like to say: before this brief introduction ends. In a world full of distractions, human connection seems like a welcome and much needed interlude. I would welcome the opportunity to work with you to create a cherished memory for your special day, if I fit with your expectations.
A bespoke ceremony created for and all about you, by me.
A respectful and sincere approach towards you and your occasion, is my promise to you.

With love,

Anita
