Celebrant background: I have been a celebrant for over 6 years, and I've been incredibly fortunate to officiate for over 100 couples so far. I believe passionately in creating ceremonies that truly reflect the couple involved, with a healthy dose of fun included! I grew up in the UK and moved to Australia over two decades ago, I'm a very proud Victorian. One of my key motivations for becoming a celebrant was my believe in Marriage equality, sadly the government took a little longer to see the light!
Why I'm a celebrant: When I am fortunate enough to be conducting a ceremony, it truly is the highlight of my week, I am a celebrant purely and simply because i genuinely enjoy it! I believe so much in being a facilitator in making the couple shine, it is their big day, and everything should be about making it the most special possible day.
Treasured memories: Every ceremony I have conducted are treasured to me, but a few do stand out. My first wedding in 2016 was so special, and I was so honored that someone had entrusted me with their big day. I've also been fortunate to have been able to officiate for friends, family and even work mates, but writing a ceremony to celebrate my wife and I's 20th anniversary that my children conducted looking over the Amalfi coast, was a memory I will never forget.
